Best for
- Running multiple Claude Code or Codex instances in parallel on separate tasks
- Execute-then-review workflows where one agent implements and another reviews the diff
- Long unattended agent runs that need confirmation handling and auto-continue
- Scoping MCP servers per agent instead of exposing every tool to every agent
Our take
omux drives coding agents from outside by reading tmux panes and sending keystrokes, so each agent keeps its native TUI. Tools plug in through per-tool adapters, and a web chat UI talks to a MainAgent. The npm package is @happenmass/omux, but the provided README excerpt is truncated before the install section. Parallel isolation uses panes and working directories rather than git worktrees, and the repo lists no license in its metadata.
