- Inspecting subagent and team execution trees with tokens, duration, and cost
- Understanding context window usage and compaction per turn
- Reviewing sessions on remote machines over SSH
Install
brew install --cask claude-devtools
Our take
An Electron app for macOS, Linux, and Windows, with a Docker/standalone server mode (docker compose up, then http://localhost:3456) that the README says makes no outbound network calls. It is read-only and does not wrap Claude Code, working from existing logs in ~/.claude/. It is an observability tool rather than a subagent definition, but it includes dedicated subagent tree views; it is MIT licensed and actively maintained with about 4k stars.
