Our take

Generates runtime-specific files for Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, and Qwen Code from one canonical src/ tree, and offers an Express path for simple tasks alongside a 4-phase Design/Plan/Execute/Complete workflow. Requires Node.js 20+ for its MCP server, and Claude Code commands are renamed (/review-code, /debug-workflow, /resume-session) to avoid clashing with built-ins. The project is actively maintained at version 1.6.4 with npm releases and a test suite, and it writes session state to docs/maestro/ by default.
