Our take

A large, opinionated environment rather than a single hook: setup requires Python 3.11+, uv, and Docker for a PostgreSQL/pgvector database, and the wizard replaces your ~/.claude config (with backup and an --uninstall option). Hooks inject skill activation suggestions on each prompt and run pyright/ruff after edits. Popular (about 3.9k stars, MIT), but its breadth means more moving parts than lighter context tools.
