Best for
- ML researchers automating idea generation, experiments, and paper writing
- Running an executor agent with an independent reviewer model (Codex MCP by default)
- Teams using Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, or other agents who want portable research workflows
Our take
Ships about 82 skills as plain Markdown, plus a standalone ARIS-Code CLI and Claude Code / Codex plugins; it is actively maintained with frequent releases. The default reviewer depends on a Codex bridge that had to be re-registered after codex-cli 0.154 removed `codex mcp-server`, so existing installs need that step. The truncated README does not show the exact quick-start commands, so check the repo's Quick Start section.
